Snickers coat of many colors

Move over Vera, younger brother Willie has finally surpassed in clothing design in the area of "Doggie Attire"!
Willie had been looking for months trying to find the right outfit for his dog Snickers, nothing fit just right ... when his seamstress Val, got the idea from the thrift store she works at on the side. She brought home an 18 month, baby boy fleecy overall outfit, the kind with snaps in the crotch to aid with diaper changes.
Willie then got his scissors to the project, taking each leg and making two separate dog coats for his Chiahuahua. The snaps cleverly replace the usual velcroe found on doggie coats. After hours of concentrating on cutting, pinning, ripping and fittings with Willie's now famous dog Snickers, the outfit was ready for construction.
As assistant Val sat at her sewing machine, Willie instructed her in the exact way that it should all go together. Willie had the brilliant idea of removing the pockets from the back seat of the child's overall and the Rex Racer patch on the chest of the outift. Val sewed one pocket on the side of the coat, knowing that love notes could be sent home from Willie's side business, a dairy. On the other side was the Rex Racer patch (an almost equally famous dog car racer). Getting the "pee-er hole" in the exact place was a real challenge, but Willie finally got it right. Also, Willie Wang reccommends using the "Large pins with the big balls on the end" (the kind used for corsage attachment) they make much quicker work of the initial stage on the dog coat. Willie has been overwhelmed with interest from the fashion industry in New York. Look for him and his dog Snickers on the cover of the January edition of Vogue magazine.

We will try to get a "secret preview photo" released for your viewing pleasure. Meanwhile, Snickers is the talk of the doggie neighborhood as he struts on his walks with master designers, "Willie Wang and Assistant Val"
