There are Goldfish in my Toilet!

Yes it's true! On Saturday night Johanna and Julia had friends over for a bonfire....and suddenly we had an aquarium in our toilet. One of Julia's guy friend's went to use our restroom and came out very panic-ed looking, (he didn't notice until he was in the middle of his business). Well, would it be okay if he flushed? So that was the end of our new aquarium. Actually, Johanna's friends James and David went to Petsmart before coming here.....
After the bonfire Julia's friend's played hide and seek upstairs, one guy is 6'5"! Another guy curled himself up inside the top of our rolltop desk and had someone shut the top! (he was one of the smaller guys) They all had a blast and dad got his trash wood burned up.
Our Easter was cold and snowy, it snowed most of the day, we even had thunder and a near power outage, Buhl got 4 inches of snow. Snow at this time of year makes me feel really irritable, it just isn't natural. Julia and Allie hid eggs inside the house at Rhonda's several times. I was reminded of when my kids used to hunt for eggs, it was serious business, tears if they only got a few eggs. Next year little Henry will be our newest egg hunter. Dad sang in the choir for both Easter services, (Sharon did too in Florida), so it was a busy day for dad. Next week he is scheduled to play bass guitar.
Nolan's wife Amy is expecting another baby next October, within one week of Ryan's wife, Mindy. That will make 7 grandchildren for Rhonda! No, I'm not jealous of her, actually it makes me tired to simply think about it. There were 8 kids at Rhonda's on Easter, all being busy and loud. Johanna invited a new friend, Grant, for Easter dinner as he dosen't have any family nearby.
Our insurance agent was here yesterday for a long time, making sure that we are properly insured in all areas. On Wednesday we are going out to lunch with the Eaton family, (we bought the new farm from them) and the broker who sold us the farm. I'm looking forward to that, we have lots of questions for them.
Harry and Flora left on a cruise yesterday, it left from San Franscisco, and has ports along the coast of Mexico. They may meet Jake's fiance' at one stop. They booked the cruise only 3 days before they left! Just the two them are going, it is an 11 day cruise. It wasn't a special deal at all, they just wanted to get out of Dodge.
Julia broke two more school records last week, and placed 2nd and 3rd in the triple and long jumps! She placed 2nd in the 100 meter dash. This was out of 11 schools. She has her Spring Formal (prom) coming up on April 28th, she is going with a new guy, Joey. There were 3 guys that wanted to take her, so dosen't she feel special! She got a new dress and earrings. She and Ambur will get their hair done together.
Dad is having a 4th lagoon built, so there are huge earth movers driving by my house for the last several weeks. They are bringing dirt from the bottom of the fields for the walls of the lagoon. The manure haulers are still here too, we have mountains of that stuff to haul onto the fields. Dad has started a new project at the dairy, a hay shed, he, Juan and Bulmaro are doing all of the work themselves.
Happy 24th Birthday to Derek on Wednesday!
Happy Spring and Love to All! ~mom~
