here are some pictures that we have been meaning to post for a while. Some superhero ones of derek and myself in our secret masks and some other ones of Dutch showing how cute and how big he has gotten :)
Life in Florida has been good lately. Yesterday we took Dutch down to the bluffs (a beach with a boardwalk that we took mom and dad too when they were here) I got very mad at him though. He has a retractable leash and once we got down to the beach he spotted a dog, ran around me and cut me off at the legs with the cable. I have gashes across the back of both knees from him - it is still very painful.... the weather here has been very nice though. in the upper 70s to the upper 80s and sunny. we got a slight drizzle of rain yesterday, but we are really!!! needing some rain. we are in a drought down here, most people don't have any sprinkler system either so the grass is starting to get crunchy. last night i went over to a friends house for a girls night out. we were planning on ordering pizza and watching chick flicks. the pizza got there and then when we thought of starting a movie, it was almost 10 so we just decided to continue talking the night away, who would have ever thought that would happen with a group of girls??? derek went to our friend joe's house to play xbox. overall this week has been a relaxing one though. we're still thinking about what do do in dc - we are so excited about it!
