Just a thought
Congrats on getting the car back Lou-dog! You know I have always heard that Toyota Camry's and Honda Accord's were the most sought after and stolen cars. You're the engineer so you'll prolly know more about how things work, but it seems to me that there is some sort logistics advantage that makes a Subaru Legacy easier to drive for crack heads. I'm not saying you should go validate it, but maybe you've got a much more valuable car on your hands then you realize. Due to that you might give your insurance agent a call to see what it would cost to add just Comprehensive back on to the car. In most cases it's very little; Sharon's 96 is 28.62 every six months. That way when lightning strikes a 3rd time, only they have to pull your car out of the sound and it's not salvageable, you'll get something out of it. It would also be good for any hit and run or vandalism circumstances that may happen to your car while it's parked out on the road. Oh yeah one more thing...I would neglect to tell your agent that the car has already been stolen twice.
