man - poor dogs!!! I know Dutch is wonderful and he is my favorite too (sorry...) but i think any dog in the bokma family is special too! i think derek was joking so hopefully you or your dogs don't take any of what he said personally!
congratulations shannon on your new job - it sounds perfect for you and may even open up opportunities for you in the future after you have the baby. have you guys decided if you are going to wait until the baby comes to find out the gender or will you find out when you can? i am very excited to be auntie sharon! new title for me - hooray! I went to a baby shower last saturday, it was kind of neat to see what she got and hear what she is going through.
Yesterday I took my very first test for the semester. i think i got at least a B - hopefully an a, but we'll see when we get it back on thursday! it was in my management class. next week i have three tests - statistics, accounting, and marketing....i am dreading it!
last night we had a very interesting bible study topic - this will be kind of interesting mainly for the ladies. it was about satan having a special hatred for women. women in general are a source of beauty and also the giver of life - two things which satan hates. we discussed how many times we as women feel not good enough, or deserving of bad things, or if we aren't desired, it is our fault, we are not good enough, pretty enough etc. - on a lot of things, it really hit home for many of us. there was a story in psychology about after girls get sexually assaulted, they feel as if it was their fault - this is satans way of telling us that we should not be beautiful because our beauty is dangerous. kind of sad the way it works. one girl brought up that with demon possessions - 80% of those that we documented were women who were possessed. i think as a whole, we are very vulnerable, and satans preys on us. but remember that God thinks you are so beautiful - satan has the ultimate hatred for us, but God has the ultimate love!!!
anyway - i just thought i would share that with you all!

PS - i also have a wonderful husband, i noticed in jen's blog she writes things that she loves about roth and mom wrote a whole blog on how wonderful her husband is.
so number one reason why i love my husband - is because he has the ability to change my mood from down on myself, upset, or angry, to happy and very glad to be who i am :)
