Hello
It's a new post from Florida. It is still warm here, but we have been getting 2 or so inches of rain the past couple of days. thunderstorms along with it which is kind of cool! We are still missing you all very much. Yesterday I made a homemade pumpkin pie - with a homemade crust and homemade whipped cream. It turned out very well :) so that was exciting for me. It was Saxon's recipe that Derek absolutely loves.... He can love it from me now! Joy (Derek's sister) and her boyfriend/fiance... came over yesterday. Derek, Joy, and Charles all went out to sushi while I was at praise team practice (Derek being the wonderful husband that he is brought me home chicken teriyaki). After that, we all came home and played phase 10 and ate the pumpkin pie. It was nice to see Joy and Charles - he lives only a couple hours away in Alabama. So today it's back to work.... Shannon, did you hear back from your interview yet? I hope everyone is well and has recovered from the business of Thanksgiving. Mom & Dad - how is the festival of trees going? Johanna - you'll have to send pictures of your new linoleum (sorry we haven't sent your pictures yet of our house - our camera has had dead batteries for the past few days - of course we found out the day of thanksgiving... but i think they are replaced now) Julia - I am missing you so much! call me sometime and we'll chat!!!
