Lake Tahoe and a Wee Wooden Boat

For Memorial Day Week-End the Poppell's, Willie Bokma and Louis Bokma families met at a cozy little cabin at Lake Tahoe, in Carnelian Bay.

At the Beach.

Pake took the whole group to a miniature golf course.

There was even a Dutch Windmill on the course!

In front of our lovely cabin that Sharon arranged for us to use.

Della and Pake walk to the beach.

Our whole group at Tahoe except for Pake.

The adorable Wee Wooden Boat

My dad recently built this amazing wooden boat rocker for his latest namesake grandchild Louis Koopman Prieto, born on his 85th birthday 1-20-2011. (I asked him why his first namesake grandson, my son Louis, didn't get one of these too? Well...give credit (or boat) where credit is due I think.)
After these photos were taken I printed on the front side of the boat:

My parents drove to Grand Junction, CO to deliver the new toy boat to baby Louis in person last month. Baby Louis K is the son of Jennifer Prieto, my brother Steve's oldest daughter, he is her 5th child.
