Okay, I know everyone has been waiting for this for like, ever so here it finally is :)
This year for Christmas we drew names for the new gifts like usual and we drew names for the homemade gifts, like usual, but Shannon had a great idea so here is the plan. The limit for the new gift will be $100. The used gift (which was normally $50) will now be split. The used gift limit will be $10. The remaining $40 will be a gift to a family in need to help them have a nice Christmas. There are nine people in the exchange this year so that makes $360. We can give this to the church's Christmas assistance shopping spree (where they will match what we give) or we can find a family and do it on our own. This can be discussed further at a later time. If anyone has any questions or concerns about the amounts, let me know :)
Drumroll please!!!!

I know $10 doesn't sound like a whole lot, but there are some pretty cool things that you can do so be creative :) Please post a list by September 30th so people can get some stuff in mind. Being that it is pretty far in advance to make a list, maybe list things that you like such as hobbies you may have, colors you like etc.
Okey dokey that is that.
We had a great time in Idaho - it was nice to get away from the humidity!!! Thanks mom and dad and julia and jo for the fun! it was good to finally meet tyler and see people that we had been missing. We didn't get many photos but here a a few for those who were not able to be with us :( The first picture is of the Werner's cabin in which we stayed while we went to Redfish lake. It was very nice and thoughtful of them to let us use it :)
Hope everyone has a good week!
Love you all
sharon
