We DO Have friends!!!!

Finally a picture of us with people other than us and Dutch. This is a picture that was taken Easter Sunday (we forgot our camera, but luckily we have responsible friends :) So first off i'll tell you who's who so you can kinda know who we talk about when we talk about people. In the back row standing to our right (the picture's left side) is Paige and Dave, they are our good friends that live in our apartment complex. They also have a dog and will be dog sitting for us while we are in DC. Derek and Dave play trucks together and we take walks with them frequently with the dogs. They are also our ice cream going buddies. On our other side (the picture's right side, our left side) is Jackie and Robin. Our bible studies are always at their house. They are also the friends of ours that went on a mission trip to nicaragua. In the front on the picture's left side, with the baby, is our friends Joe and Tara and baby Josiah. They also live in our apartment complex with their dog samson. We dog sit him and he is a very nice dog. Joe and Tara are very neighborly, they bring us vinegar when I am sunburned and we bring the soda crackers and 7-up when they are sick in bed :) Behind them, is Laurie, who is in our Bible study. She is not married but she is very nice. I don't know her as well, I think it is much easier for me to make friends with women who are married because there are different things in common, plus she doesn't go to Hillcrest which is our church so our only interaction is at Bible study. Lastly, on the bottom right of the picture is Paige and Paul. They are from California, she is an interior decorator so she dresses very cutely and her house always is very well decorated and trendy. She is very crafty and she makes a lot of her decorations herself. Again, very nice people, but our only interaction is bible study - we are going to start trying to get them to come to our game nights and dinners on the weekends. So that's our friends.

We are getting more and more excited for DC everyday. We will see you all in a week and two days! Hip hip hooray!!!! This week is my finals week, but I only have one final which is on Thursday so I have been getting stuff done around the house - I have a leaky tire so that will need to be fixed too this week. Work is going well for both of us. I start my new schedule right after I get back from DC so that will be nice, it will really save on gas too! We are looking at buying a bike for me to ride to my classes on Tuesday and Thursday, Paige (from our apartment complex) is taking classes at the same time as me so we would ride together.
Derek's youth softball team is undefeated so far this season. i am not sure how many more games he has, but they have been doing so well! i am very proud of him as everyone wants to be on his team. My hero....
Julia, you sure were beautiful for your dance, I am so lucky to have such a good looking family :)
So just so every knows - here's a fun fact! Mom and Dad's names are both on the Hurricane name list for 2006. Derek's bet is that Valerie will be a hurricane and William will be a tropical storm:) We'll see how that goes though... hopefully both fade into the ocean!
Alright, that's it from me for now. Still busy missing and loving you all!
Sharon
by the way - Louis, how is that job opportunity goin?
