A Bokma Update!

Hi there Friends and family,

Once again we've had lots of wonderful things happening in our family lately.

Kaelan James Bokma was born on August 28! He is the son of Shannon and Louis Bokma. He joins a big brother Henry. Willie and I plan to visit them in Newak, CA the first part of October.
Kaelan is our 2nd grandchild.
Our daughter Johanna is due to deliver a wee babe on Ocotber 27.

Sharon just found out that she has passed all 4 of her CPA exams!!!!!!!!!
Only 5% of those who take the tests pass all 4 the first time.
We knew that she could do it!

Soo, Sharon is now a CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT!
(After lots and lots of studying and $)

She has accepted a new position at an Accounting Firm in Grass Valley, CA.

Derek has been staying in Grass Valley lining up his State Farm Office, employees, and all of the furniture and computers. It is a huge task for him, he will officially open his office there on December 1, 2008. We plan to stop in to visit Sharon and Derek on our way to see Louis and family in October.

Julia is leaving for Seattle this Friday. She gets to take her car this year! Johanna is driving there with her and will fly home that night. Julia will start her 2nd year at Seattle Pacific University in the nursing program. 3 weeks ago Julia had eye surgery, PRK, she no longer needs glasses or contacts!!!!!! Oh Happy Day!

Sharon had a similar surgery, LASIK, last Friday and now she is glasses/contact free too! Modern technology is simply amazing!

Everything on the homefront here in Twin Falls is going well, the normal harvesting is in swing. The silage will be chopped in the next few weeks. The crops all seem to be good producers this year. The share/crop farmer that we now have is a Mennonite. He and his dad are fixing up one of our nearby rental houses, their family will be moving in in a few weeks. We look forward to having them for neighbors.

We give praise to God for our many Blessings!
