Big News in Idaho!

Well, a lot has changed in the last few days, so I shall update all of you on the family happening.

Ryan's new wife, Mindy has had a job offer to manage a Macaroni Grill in Portland. They plan to have her take that job, and Ryan would be Mr. mom and hopefully still be a furniture store director for papa. Ryan can finish up his Biology degree in Portland, he has only 1 semester of school left. Ryan is in the process of adopting Mindy's baby Tristan. Papa and grandma are very sad, as having Ryan come to work for them each day was a highlight in their lives.

The other big news is that Jake Bokma is engaged to Veddadean, his girlfriend that he has had in Mexico for quite awhile. The wedding will be in Ixtapa, Mexico next December 1st. Dad is excited to travel there, as it's not a touristy area. Hopefully our whole family can be there.

Louis and Shannon, I'd like to hear more updates from you guys. I think that you were the ones who started the blog to keep us all in better touch.......... We're praying for a perfect little baby next summer! We're getting really excited, our friends are calling us g-ma and grandpa, I don't like those names, they sound so old. Maybe we'll go by Oma and Opa instead, or else the new baby may give us each a special name on it's own.

The Koopman family is giving papa a 3 day train trip through the Grand Canyon for his 80th birthday next Friday. The cost is approx. $500, we will put all the family members names on the card, if you chose to donate to his gift you can give it to me, however, that is optional.

P.S. It finally has stopped raining here, the corrals are so sloppy, it's depressing for dad to go to work. We have had sun the last two days, it feels so great!
